Gmail IMAP/Mail.app question

I have two Gmail IMAP accounts configured in Mail.app. Certain incoming e-mail is not immediately directed to the inbox, but rather to an account subfolder entitled "All Mail," both in the Gmail web client and Mail.app. Is this a Gmail or Mail.app issue? Which options do I have to change to ensure that EVERYTHING is directed to the inbox folder upon receipt?
