Gmail imap suddenly stops working in Mail.app

Hello folks,

My Gmail imap has been working fine in Mail, but since two days ago, no new emails would load, it would just do that spinning thing. My hotmail live account in Mail works fine, but nothing is receiving or sending in Mail, however it is constantly taking 180kb/s of uploading bandwidth. Have any of you experienced this issue?
