gmail iMAP - tabs as folders in mac mail?

Gmail has a nice way of organising your mail into tabs based on content automatically without manually filtering every single new email that comes in.

Is it possible to get the social/promotions/forums tabs gmail has in mac mail as IMAP folders? I can't see a way. Thanks!

Those tabs aren't real labels. Gmail is simply filtering what's in your inbox for display purposes. They're not user configurable or visible in IMAP apps.
