i have my gmail accounts setup as push via microsoft exchange

push works but not always. sometimes my phone will have no unread messages then i refresh the inbox and several show up

anyone else experiencing this? how did you fix it? :eek:

The earliest settings is 15 minutes.
Is that why?
 
So the only way to get gmail instantly is by setting it up through exchange? I kept trying to figure this out and the best I could do was fetch every 15mins which seemed like it would drain the battery a ton

I think having fetch set to 15minutes will waste LESS battery then having push enabled.

Can someone absolutely confirm which method will waste less battery?

I have my fetch set to 30mins...I tried out push and it worked great, but I need to have on bluetooth, wifi and location services, siri, and notifications too, so I opted to leave push out.
