Gmail not sending mail since yesterday

I'm using apple's stock mail app. I haven't been able to send mail since yesterday I get a message saying "Cannot Send Mail, the username or password for your account is incorrect" I get incoming emails without a hitch. I proceeded to delete my account and re enter all the settings again, still the same problem. I'm on iOS 7 Beta3. Things used to work fine with the same settings before yesterday. I don't have the account set up as exchange since Google Sync does not work anymore. So it isn't that. Thanks in advance.

Are you using two step. If you are the you have to create an application specific password.
