Hello,

Has anyone else been having trouble with their Gmail extensions for Safari? For years I've been using Gmail Checker, which displayed the number of unread messages in red on an icon in the toolbar but on Saturday it stopped working. I have since downloaded Gmail Counter and Gmail Notifier (the Safari extension not the official Google Notifier, which displays unread messages in the Apple Menu Bar), and neither of them displays the number of unread messages in the toolbar either. Gmail Counter does display the unread messages in the header but I find this feature to be intrusive. Does anyone know of an extension that does work or know of a fix for this issue? I'm assuming that either Apple or Google made some change that caused this problem since all Gmail extensions stopped working. The unread counter does work for non-Gmail extensions so I'm inclined to believe it's a Google issue.

FYI, I am currently using Safari 5.1.9 in Snow Leopard.

Thanks in advance.
