gmail send email broken

Hey everyone,
I just tried to send an email with my iphone, a mobile upload to facebook, on wifi and edge and it is broken. It says it cant find smtp.gmail.com, I have changed no settings and it worked fine the last time I used it which was yesterday.

Any advice? Is gmail down?

Can't be sure, but most likely it's a temporary connectivity issue.
