Gmail settings with Apple Mail

Hello,
I would like to use Apple Mail to manage my Gmail account.

I have just set it up, everything has been very easy.

As to the mailbox rules (draft, sent, junk and deleted messages), shall I keep the setting as they are configured by Mail or shall I modify anything?

I have been using iOS mail app with gmail for years and I haven't touched any of the settings other than to get up and running. So leave as is until you come across a problem.
