hi i'm very new to mac.
got my macbook a few days ago...anyway
today when i logged into my gmail account and was about to sign-out an apple warning/pop-up came up saying i should log out b/c someone was singing themselves into my account...
i tested it out and logged into my account with my macbook and then went to my pc and logged in and no warning popped up...
i'm a bit confused...any help would be appreciated..
hope i put this in the right area :/

This has nothing to do with the functioning of your mac.

you pressing sign out will clear all connections to your account and most likely have alerted said person that you're there, so they may well have stopped.

If the account was with regards to your mac, is it connected to a not-so-secure network? Is it's firewall on?

The functioning of the gmail website bears no relation to how well your mac is functioning.
