Gmail Sync Push Contacts and Calendar causes 3.0 to now accept all calls

Has anyone set-up Gmail Exchange settings to enable Push contacts and Calendar from google sync?

I got this set up and working fine - but bizarely when its enabled on the iPhone 1 in 3 calls made to the iPhone do not get through- simply get sent to voicemail. Cant work out if its a Google problem, or 3.0 problem. Sim in another handset works fine so account and SIM all good. Turn off Google sync setting andiPhone works fine - so handset good?

I have Wifi and good 3G coverage so not a Edge/data issue.

Anyone got this setup working fine?

I have an original iPhone and I use Google's Mobile Sync to push contacts and calendar, and it works fine for me.

Working fine, Push as well as incoming calls. Though PUSH is a drainer for battery.
