Gmail vulnerability

Sounds serious...
Doesn't sound like it has been exploited though, at least not yet. Wonder what it is about Gmail that makes it vulnerable and not other web based mail?

This kind of problem isn't unique to Google. A very similar problem turned up in the past with Hotmail and a somewhat related security flaw turned up in Yahoo mail.

I guess its part and parcel of the development cycle, perhaps what makes the difference is how fast and well they response to it.
