so this thread is inspired by one on another forum i visit, except it pertains to only going for a bike ride, decided it'd be fun to have here, but might as well include more people.

so you go out for your walk/run/ride/drive for the day and you bring back one photo to share. you can include the story behind it if you want.

and I suppose flying on an airplane could be considered a ride.

I flew home today! it was long, and I'm glad to be back.

i walked over to a local park to watch the 4th of july fireworks display last night. this being my first attempt to capture explosions in the sky - i think i did fair. definitely know what to do differently next time around.

i took this shot while strolling back home. decided to set up the tripod once more for some cliche' traffic shots.

Took this one earlier in the week... Went for a ride up to a local lake, and brought the camera with me since the light was so lovely. This photo was taken inside an abandon stone church on the lakeside... I liked the lighting and my gal was lovely enough to pose for some shots. I am very much satisfied with the results!

Taken with my Nikon D50 and a Nikkor 18-70mm.

I'm no professional photographer like the vast majority of other MR members but... here I go.

Chicago!

For the first one, I just held the camera in the air and snapped a picture.

We did walk past the Michigan Ave store but we didn't go in. I said to my sister "Lets go to the Apple store" but she said "no". What she says, goes.:(

Our goal was not to take a single cab while Down Town and we did it! We walked 10 miles.:D
