In light of the election year I built an iPhone app for my favorite candidate, Gov. Mitt Romney. I published it under "Integrated Design Solutions, Inc." because I have permission to publish the app under that name.

The app is currently not in the App Store. I'm trying to send it to Apple, but I'm having a problem with the Application Loader. After that, the only hurdle left will be getting it approved. I anticipate that part will take a few weeks, but it could take a few months. I hope it won't take too long - I think I can use the app to shed some positive light on Gov. Romney.

Anyways, once the app is available on the App Store, Mitt Romney fans will be able to:

-Show support by posting a message or photo and see what other app users have posted.
-Watch YouTube videos created by Mitt Romney's campaign team.
-Read the MittRomney.com RSS feed.
-Read Gov. Romney's Twitter feed.

This is my first app, so I hope I will get high ratings!

It appears that my post has been copied to other forum sites.

If anyone is reading this from any forum other than MacRumors.com, know that I, Montana B., created this app.

Hopefully, by the time I get done with my lobotomy it will be in the iTunes Store.

Congrats on your accomplishment. Don't expect too much appreciation for the subject here though. :)

I don't think you can talk politics anywhere on the Net and expect people who disagree not to say that they disagree.

Anyways, as of yesterday my app is waiting for Apple's approval. Yay me!

I would be totally shocked if Apple allowed anything so blatantly political to get into the Store. This kind of thing belongs on bumper stickers, and no where else.

Update: My app is rejected because 1) it asks for, but doesn't appear to use, location data and 2) it's more of a content aggregator.

Because it was supposed to be a content aggregator, I will just not bother editing the app and resubmitting it.
