Going back to 3.1.3 via iTunes.

Ok, this is more a general question ... not really specific to me and my needs.

Let's say for talking sake, someone has upgraded to the iOS4 GM but wants to go back to 3.1.3 and jailbreak that version until the official jailbreak for iOS4 comes out, how would they go about it?

Is it as simple as clicking restore in iTunes and 3.1.3 will be installed?

Or is it overly complicated and not worth the hassle?

Its not that simple, you need to follow the steps that are found here:
maclife - downgrading to OS3.1

I've used this method successfully on beta 3 and 4 of iOS.
