Going back to iOS 4.3.4 from iOS 5 Beta 3

Has anyone tried to go back to the new iOS 4.3.4 firmware from iOS 5 Beta 3 ?

I tried without success, using the Alt-Restore option in iTunes 10.5 Beta 3 and pointing to the 4.3.4 .ipsw. I forget the error message right now but it did say something about a reboot may be needed.

In the mean time if anyone has been successful doing this can you tell me your method.

Restore using DFU mode and it will work. Google "iPhone DFU" for instructions if you need.

I was under the impression you had to go back to iTunes 10.3

Thanks so much for this !!!! my phone was in recovery mode not DFU which has now worked !!!
