This is what I use, and it does a decent job.

will that fully charge my iphone from 20% or less battery life?
Yup... I tend to travel a lot, so I often use it on flights. It's charged my phone from ~20% to 100% in the duration of a 2 hour flight.

Edit: Assuming you're going on a 4 day camping trip, just keep in mind that this is a rechargeable pack. So it may charge your phone once fully, and maybe about halfway or more a second time before it needs to be recharged.

I have the IMP500 and love it. I just ordered the IMP50 so I can charge my iPad as well. The 500 will only charge it when sleeping. Charging port output is only 500 ma, the 50 has both a 500ma and a 1amp port. I spend a lot of time in places with no AC plugs......love these batteries. They both weigh about 5oz so not bad for backpacking. It should easily get you through 4 days.

Camping? ... you don't need your iPhone.

just turn it off ... only turn it on if you absolutely need it ... you should enjoy the camping trip without the electronics.

well I'm going to Bonnaroo 4 day music fest and I'm not driving, so I won't have my car but with 80k people I need my phone to keep in contact when we get separated. I'll be camping from Wed night through Sunday night.

I use the ZaggSparq charger from the people who make invisibleshield.

It charges the iphone 4 times.

I use my RichardSolo. Google it for their website. It's great. I use it all the time.

Me too! It's great because it has a flashlight and laser pointer on it too. You may get one (maybe one and a half) charge out of it before you need to charge the battery pack again.

I love the flashlight/laser pointer. I probably use those more than I actually use it for charging my iPhone. It's awesome. :)

I agree because this is what I did this week. Makes things more fun.

I do have to agree. Camping is all about getting away from all the electronics, and not bringing them with you. Turn the iPhone off for a week. I'm sure it will do you some good.

YUCK! That doesn't sound like any fun. I would hate to bring such an annoyance with me when I'm camping.

Oh camping! Have a sick time. I recommend checking out Portugal. The Man, Deer Tick, and Explosions in the Sky if you aren't already familiar with them.

I use a richard solo and its fantastic. Charges my iPhone 4 to almost 100 percent. Also has a built in LED light and laser pointer :D
