Going camping, what portable power cube to get?

This seems a little counter-intuitive to the idea of camping.:D

I thought the point was to get away from technology and enjoy the outdoors.

quick question with these battery packs, does it drain that first and then drain the iphone battery or does it take the iphone first? i really don't see a point if it takes the iphone battery before the pack since then the iphone would be useless without being connected to the pack after a long plane ride
 
Just bought a one of these the other day. (APC ubp10)It actually charges the phonewhen you connect it. Seemed to work well but there are some complaints about the auto shutoff feature. Some devices don't draw enough charge to keep it from shutting off every 20 minutes so you have to keep hitting the charge button. seems to work ok with the 3g though. Cheapest price with shipping that I found was directy from apc.
