iPad Going from 5.0.1 to 5.1

Hello!

Is it possible for me to upgrade to 5.1 from 5.0.1?

I have an iPad 2 jailbroken. Do i need these blobs everybody is talking about?

Well, 5.1.1 then. Is it possible for me to obtain the blobs now? Through cydia or something? And if so, how is it done?:)
 
I just tried iSH**** and it said that its no longer avalible for signing, so I guess im out of luck, oh well. How dose a tethered jailbreak work when I install tweaks from cydia that requires a reboot? Do i just reboot, then turn it off again and boot with the jailbreak and the tweak is installed?

There is no tethered jailbreak for an iPad 2 (assuming you are you referring to iOS6) ?
Sadly, 3 stikes you are out :eek:
 
I'm in this same boat. I have 5.0.1 jailbreaked and want to go to 5.1.1 jailbreaked on my ipad 2. I have the blobs saved for 5.1.1 in cydia. Can someone point me to a tutorial?
 
That guide just shows you how to jailbreak whatever current firmware you have, not upgrade to a firmware that is no longer being signed and then jailbreak. Got another guide?

Iclarified has all the tutorials you need if you have the shsh blobs there are titorials there how to use redsn0w or tinyumbrella.. it's not that difficult to find honest.. ;)

If you have been jailbroken in 5.0.1 as you say, Cydia should have said your 5.1.1 blobs. If they are saved, used Redsn0w's re-restore utility to restore to 5.1.1, then jailbreak.
