Going from white to black

My 3G and 3GS were always white, but that's because I liked the front as all black when the screen was off. Even when on, I think the white will be distracting.

I have had the black 3G for obviously 2 years now - but I am confused, because i hate dirty-ness, and black seems so much classier.

Guys guys guys, think about this. In theory, the white iPhone should stain/show NO MORE DIRT than the black one. Why? Because you only SEE the white! You can't touch it! On both sides, its UNDER the aluminosilicate glass....Just like the black iPhone. You're not gonna dirty up glass in any fashion that a quick shirt swipe won't get rid of.
