is there anything I need to know or do special?
I am ready to move my music collection from my pc onto an external firewire drive I plan to hook up to my mac. When I originally got my pod it was formatted for windows, do I need to do anything special now that I will be doing updates to it from a mac?

1. It's spelled Windows. How do you expect people to search for threads when key words such as windows is spelled incorrectly?

2. Macs natively use HFS+. You may want to reformat your iPod to HFS+, but you'll lose everything on it. If you do so, a PC will not be able to read it without special software.

3. Macs will read Windows Formatting (FAT32) just fine. So you don't have to do anything if you don't want to. This is what I would do.

...er key words (such as windows) is spelled incorrectly? How ironic.
