Hi,

I quite new to iPhone so bear with me if this has been asked before.

I will go on holiday next week. So I will be using another sim card.

It will be ideal that I can keep my "profile" (all my contacts, settings, apps) then create a new "profile" for the new sim card. So when I'm back from my holiday I can restore my old "profile" and get back all my configurations.

I know there is backup feature from iTunes, so I assumed I can restore it to that "backup" when I'm back. The problem is I will be using the same laptop. So no idea how to create a new profile and hopefully can keep my old profile or not screwing up the existing backup/profile.

Thanks,

Stephen

As far as I know your stuff (contacts, apps, files...) does not depend on your sim card.

You can switch sim cards without encountering problems, except for mobile data settings and such perhaps.
