Going on vacation, any good free app recomendations?

I am going on vacation in a few days withought internet and have an iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4 and an iPad 2 that will be taken on the trip.

Since we will be in an airplane for 10+ hours, i'll need something other then movies to do. Does anyone know any free good apps that will work with no internet connection?

Sorry to sound snide but if you've already laid out ~$1500 for all your Apple devices what's the point of sticking only with "free" apps?

Depends on where you are going. There are some specific NYC apps, but I recommend a quick search in the app store for "travel guides"

I'll be going to Europe, already downloaded the travel guides and offline maps .

One main reason why I would perfer free is because I dont want to buy an app, find I dont like it and delete it and waste money.
