Hi

I'm considering swapping my optical drive in my MBP for a SSD. Now I still have some CDs/DVDs that I need. It's no problem to turn them into dmg or iso but I was wondering if there is an app that helps me managing (e.g. comments, tags, name) and mount/unmount those disk images.

So basically an iphoto like disk cataloguer / jukebox / manager?!

Any experiences with going diskless? MBA owners? Do we need DVDs/CDs anymore?

Thanks your help!
cheers!

I use Disktracker to catalogue my physical CDs/DVDs, should be able to do any volume mounted, including harddrives and disk images. For mounting you should just be able to double-click them and they should be handled by Disk Utility.
