I'm in the same "boat", but seriously considering ordering from Amazon today.

Speculation is minor changes around Jan/Feb 2010. Concensus is that if you need it now buy it, otherwise wait.

I am concerned the new imac will get a led screen. Apple is moving to led across their entire product line. If you buy now you'll get a ccfl, the same kind of lights in old office bldgs.
