Going to get a 20" iMac.

Hi I've decided on getting a 20" iMac over a 17" one, but would like to upgrade the RAM. I know its probably not best to buy from apple direct but apart from crucial can anyone recommend makes and places to buy in the UK cheaper than crucial?

Not sure about the UK, since I haven´t lived there for some years now.
What I found in Norway though was this; Getting my 20" iMac with a 1 gig stick only increased the price by 900kr (70GBP), this was as cheap as getting it elsewhere. Adding yet another (to 2 gig) is more expensive at apple.no, so my other 1 gig will be bought elsewhere at a later date.

Maybe it´s the same way in the UK? Check it out.

Now all I do is waiting for it to arrive.

Realistically it may only be a pound or two cheaper....why bother...crucial are reliable and reputable.

This RAM has been used by a few people on these forums and as far as I know no-one has reported any issues with it, but the manufacturer / retailer do not guarantee Mac compatibility.
