The 2011 should be around £700 once 2012 model comes out which I think will be a great buy..
Only going to get a 2012 model if it's a great improvement .....fingers crossed.
This will be my 1st ever iMac.

I got a 2nd iPad last month for £259 refurb which seemed a great deal.
Here hoping for a great deal on 2011 iMac refurb

What an absolutely riveting tale. You have such cunning and foresight. This was totally worth making a new thread for!

Seriously, you should should re-post this on some of the other forums, everyone needs to hear such a facinating story!

Good luck with your penny pinching goals in 2012.

I doubt it will go as low as £700. More likely referb price, which is £849 for the entry level 21.5-inch.

I'd add about £140 to that price unfortunately mate, they rarely price a year old model below educational/small business discount rates, that's the draw of the education discount really, new 'current' machine for the same price as a refurb of it's predecessor.

Apple refurb prices typically range at 14 or 15% so you're looking at £849 for a refurb of what is currently on sale as the base £999

You'll get a 2010 for £700 though!

Well if they don't drop the price of the 2011 refurb iMac I will just have to treat myself to the 2012 iMac or the 2013 if they don't get their finger out and release a new iMac.
