Going to JB got a 3G question..

Ok so I really need backgrounder on my ipad... so im going to jailbreak. However I have a question. I own a 3G ipad will jailbreaking effect the 3G services on the iPad in anyway?

I have a 3G and I haven't had a problem. Obviously this depends on what applications you install after the fact though. I have Backgrounder and no issues; the only thing I can think of off the top of my head that gave me trouble was OpenSSH.
