Going to pick up a replacement Touch...but?

I'm going to pick up a replacement touch but what week should i be looking for so i don't have to downgrade to 1.1 instead of having 1.2 pre-installed? I have a week 43 right now and basically I was just wondering what the cut off was for 1.1 being pre-installed because I don't want to go through the hassle of having to downgrade...

iPod Touch doesn't have a SIM so it doesn't have the sim unlock problem as the iPhone, so any iPod touch can be jailbreaked...

i have heard that if you have the john lennon box you can figure you are in the clear. They are the latest ones. i THINK they are week 47
also if you are atleast 45 you are good too.

I just bought a 16gb touch, Macy Gray box, week 45, and it had 1.1.2 loaded.

i dont think you can go by the box. but it'll be hard to get a 1.1 new

downgrading is as easy as doing a key combination (opt + click for macs) (i think) and selecting the version.

nothing to fuss about.
if you are talking about issues week 40 and better is good.
