So lately I am having trouble with my early 2011 MBP going to sleep (now I talk about it like a baby ;) )
When I close the lid, it does not go into sleep node. I resetted the PRAM (or whatever when you have to hold down Command option P and R when booting, but it didn't help. So what I just tried is, that I checked if it would go to sleep when it runs on battery, and tadaaaa: it does! (btw: My indicator in this is the pulsing light in the front. Meaning: When I close the lid and it is on battery: pulsing = sleep mode. When it is on AC and I close the lid: not pulsing = not in sleep mode.)
Has anyone any ideas why it is that id doesn't go into sleep mode when it is running from cable?
