Im going to the apple store in 3 hours, to return my 2.0 ALU IMAC for a 2.2 SR MacBook.

Any reason i shouldn't do this?
Any "DONT DO IT, YOULL REGRET IT AIRJUGGERNAUT!"?

Depends on why.... Both are great machines, but the MB screen is a little small for use with heavyweight applications (I'm thinking graphics apps), and it will feel slower due to the notebook HD.

Having said that, if you need a laptop you need a laptop. The MB is a nice machine. OTOH if you need a desktop you need a desktop. The 20" iMac is also a nice machine. *shrug*

Yes, I have a comment.

I look forward to you purchasing an iPhone for me as your belated Christmas gift to me.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Meh, the most GPU intensive thing ill do is WoW and CS: Source, which all apparently run fine.
I had a Desktop before, which i put away. It's a decent PC with 3gb ram, 2.2ghz dual core processor. So i guess iMac wont be a big loss.

Any one want to try talking me out of it?
