The updated version is now available. Haven't tried it yet but initial user reviews (for what they're worth) seem overwhelmingly positive: increased font-size, faster, leaner UI, no longer takes Navigon-length time to find GPS signal, etc. If anyone else has a chance to try the updated version, please post a review.
