GOLD and cases

So, this if the first time ever I will not have a black or slate iPhone. I like the look of the gold (don't judge) so I went with them this time.

My issue is, I can figure out which cases will look good with the gold. I don't want clear and I don't want a gold case...so, previous gold owners - which color cases compliment the gold phone?

If anything, go with either the olive brown or the plain red. From what I've seen on the apple site they both look good.

Until I receive my 6 Plus in space gray I'll be using a regular 6 in gold with an olive brown leather apple case and it looks great.

My girlfriend is using the plain red one.

Seems like if you like the gold, then go with a clear case. Seems silly to get a certain color and then hide that color in an opaque case.

I got a cheap Brila brown leather case (no longer available on amazon) to tide me over until i find a nicer one. I have a feeling the brown will complement it well allowing the gold to stick out just for accents. That or its gonna look tacky. I'm taking one hell of a gamble.

i had gold and i had OEM iphone 5s blue cover.

if i have gold this time, id get black, olive brown, or midnight blue

in that order.

Same here ive either had black or white phones since the first. Decided this year was time for a switch to gold.. (At least this year)

I think the best colors to go with are red, navy/dark blue, black, clear, or something with gold trim.

I think all of the Apple leather cases work with it. And all but the pink and green silicone cases work.

My favorites are probably red and dark blue. The red and gold is sort of flashy and might be a little too much for some. Dark blue gives a really nice contrast. The covers cover almost all of the gold anyway.
