I'm searching for a Yosemite compatible widget to show the actual value of gold and silver

Is there any out there?

If what you're looking for is "current value" per ounce, have you considered the "commodities" widget for the Dashboard?

It gives current price for silver and gold along with a host of other commodities...

I'll consider this a "plan B" because i've already disabled dashboard
