Gold vs Silver

Gold looks nice and is Differentiating itself from the Silver one.

I really want a solid black (not some two tone black variant). Short of that, which we obviously didn't get, I'm going Silver.

To me Gold is about the bling factor and I'm personally much more understated than that. I tried to convince my wife that platinum wedding bands were more elegant but she had to have gold...

Very personal choice for sure.

Its just a subtle shade of gold , really classy and distinct back .
From the look of Back i Prefer Gold , but as a whole the Silver looks more uniform

But since you asked, I say go with Silver. Unless you're kinda a show-off guy.

If I were to decide between gold and silver alone? Silver. While it's certainly a more subtle gold, the gold color reminds me of this, and this is what I picture in my head when I first saw it:

Thing is, lots of people would be using a case which makes the gold unseen (for the most part)

I think the gold ring on the home button certainly helps it look different

I think I'm going gold. Silver looks nice, but it's too similar to my white 4S and I want some sort of a change, but I will never go black.

You have to see it in person IMO - the gold does seen very attractive though.
