I went into my TiVo to make sure Vegas would record and I saw that it isn't on tonight because of the Golden Globes. So no, I'm not going to watch. Until an hour ago I didn't even know it was on tonight.

:D Although I posted this reply in the political thread, Clooney just accepted an award and says, "I'd like to thank Jack Abramhoff", then made fun of Jack and Off being in his name. Ha! Now that's funny!

Thanks for reminding me to change the channel. I have been surfing the web with my TV in the background.I am too lazy to change the channel. There are too many award shows. I think they may start doing the award show on award shows!

Right now I am watching Drew Barrymore's nipples poking through her dress.

Aaaaand then the director cut the shot to show her from higher up.

I love live television.

And now we have this strange black addition to Pam Anderson's dress... undoubtedly designed to stop her boobs from popping out on live TV.

And Steve Carell wins for Best Actor in a Comedy TV Series for The Office.

Carell's speech, funny. Drew's...erhm....."presentation"...well...I'm married so I can't talk about that (..but twas fitting for the "Golden Globes");)

Mary-Louise Parker just won her second Golden Globe for Weeds... she beat all of the women from Desperate Housewives.

Sadly, no jokes about the size of her boobs this time. (Last time, she'd just had her child a month or two before.)

Sorry, but award shows do this to me... ;)

Wasn't it her that said something about it last time, about herself? Trying to remember.

Yeah, last time she thanked her newborn for her suddenly-ample (and very nicely displayed) bosom. (He was born about two weeks before the 2004 Golden Globes.)

Hmmm... I think it's delayed for the West Coast. Oh well, a moratorium of this thread and Yahoo News is in effect... now.
Here's to the Crazy Ones

I am as big a fan of nipples as anyone, but Drew looked awful. Did she think she looked stylish? What a disaster.

Steve Carell's speech was pretty funny, but for me the two funniest bits were Geena Davis' speech and Chris Rock's joke about MLK day.

Watching it here for the very first time ever. Don't know why. I think it has to do with the fact that I watch a lot more great shows at the moment and am sort of waiting to see if Battlestar Galactica is at all nominated. I guess I will google it to see.

I was surprised that House M.D. Huge Laurie recieved an award :D

Edit: Well, no science fiction category. Not fracking surprised.
