Hey everyone,

I am looking for a good program that can remove banners and ads from websites. I'm new to Mac, but for my PC I used a program called AdMuncher which worked fantastically. I'm looking for something that does similiar on the Mac OS.

I almost always use Firefox if you know of just a good add-on for it. I have Adblock for Firefox installed but it doesn't seem to get rid of many ads, maybe its not configured correctly.

I tried running a couple of searches through this forum and on google and did not find the result I was looking for.

Can anyone recommend me anything?

I use NoScript.

By default, it blocks all javascript on a web site. Then, when you go to a website, just click the little icon in the bar and choose what scripts to allow.

Try Adblock Plus as opposed to Adblock.
