Good apps for removing private information before posting on the internet

Hi, sometimes we need to post photos, videos and audio files to public online forums but we want to keep privacy. What are the good apps to remove all information such as author name, login name, location, paths where the files are stored, etc.?

In the past, somebody suggested using ImageOptim for photos but I can still see userid and id of those with access rights not being removed.
