So I know plenty of people ask for books on programming or learning a particular kind of technology. I've got quite a few of those on my to do list already.
What I want to know more about is things like software engineering methodologies and programming workflow. Things like how to take advantage of source control and build systems for managing your project. I always read about or talk to companies how they do stuff like using continuous build servers or tying a master build branch into your milestones. Hell even at Uni I took a paper that covered stuff like different Methodologies and some other management aspects. But I'm not quite sure how to bring it all together into managing a project.
I already use stuff like Github already for personal projects, but I get the feeling I can manage myself a whole lot better and take better advantage of the tools available to me.
