Good card reader and bluetooth mouse?

What are some good SD card readers that I can use on the MBP? Is my only option a USB one or is there one that can fit in the slot that I can keep in there permanently? Ideally I would like to be as small and non intrusive as possible.

Also what is a good, small bluetooth mouse that I can use? I'm not a fan of the apple mouse's design...
