At $.54 per GB, along with a RAM upgrade, this could breathe some new life into some older MBP's and provide decent storage at a relatively low price. OWC states that this will work with 2008 and 2009 models.
And yes, I doubtlessly know that some people will say it would be better to get a better performing drive like a Sammy, M4 or Vertex 4 so you can transplant it in a newer system in a couple of years, but that's beside the point.
