just wanted to give you all a heads up if you are interested in the new macbookpro:
An Apple Developer Connection Select membership costs 500$. However, once you are a select member, you can buy the new macbook pro at a discounted price: The low end costs 1599$, which means you "only" pay 100$ for the membership. The high end is a real treat: It costs select members 1999$, which pretty much means the membership is given "free of charge".
There are other deals for other machines, but none are as good as the high end mac book pro.
