Hello, I am a first time Mac buyer and finally want to make the jump. I currently have a 2.4ghz i5 Dell XPS laptop and the only programs I use are Photoshop, Deamweaver and Office. I do game but ONLY Team Fortress 2 and it is an older game.

I found though a local trader a Macbook Pro 15, 2.53 GHz i5, 8 GB RAM,GeForce GT 330M, 500 GB hard drive, a Hi-Res 1680x1050 screen, 300 cycles on the battery for $700.

I know this an older machine but i am considered putting in a 750gb Seagate XT hard-drive to improve the performance for cheap.

Does this sound like a good deal? I believe I am going to jump on it:rolleyes:

Ok Sounds Great. I was hoping for positive words before I jumped on it. I will report back if the deal happens. I will cross my fingers..:D

I wasn't too sure about the price because I am used to PC pricing. My 2010 dell xps laptop is almost worthless now on fleebay..ha

Exactly. At least I believe/hope my 2010 is worth much more than $700

This in USD or?
Well it probably isn't, that would be a good deal if they gave you cash in hand , with the retailer selling for between $850-1000 depending on the appearance of the machine to make some sort of profit.

So yes $700 is a pretty good deal, get on it! haha:)
