The guy says perfect condition. Hardly any scratches.
 
It's an older model but I think that's a pretty good price.

Although if you're getting it from craigslist, be careful. The last three people I emailed about their MBP's all seemed to live in the UK for one reason or another and need to ship it (I live in Denver).

I think you're right. The 2.16Ghz 17" models were Core Duo, not Core 2 Duo. Revisions A and B.

Not until Rev C did the 17" models come with the Core 2 Duo, but it ran at 2.33Ghz.


Buyer, you should ask the seller for clarification. Is it a Core Duo model, or a Core 2 Duo MBP?
 
With more details from the seller, that sounds possible--it could just be a 15/17 typographical error.
