I have the 500 GB version and it's been great for me. Very quiet. Mac compatible, but you'll need to reformat to use with Time Machine (Time Machine does this automatically - but you lose any data on the drive).

Yes it's excellent deal, but if you try to get in-store it'll be @ higher price..
