Some guy on the local classifieds put an ad up saying he will preorder the 4s of your choice with his upgrade for the following prices: 16gb - 450, 32gb - 550, and 64gb - 650. I was the first to text him and he ordered me a white 16gb. We are meeting up the day it ships to him. Did i get a good deal? How much would you have paid? :) :apple:

Those are standard early upgrade prices. Why wouldn't you just buy from AT&T or Apple for those prices? Are you not eligible for at least an early upgrade?

You would save the tax (if applicable in your area) and not have to renew your contract.....

Yeah, but I don't want to renew my contract.

Yeah, but I don't want to renew my contract.

Why not? You would save money if you did. The contract can always be cancelled later and you just pay the pro-rated ETF which is likely less than the extra price you are paying for the phone today. $250 today is worth more than $250 later.

It's not like AT&T is going to give you a cheaper rate plan for doing this. And lets face it, the rate plan is a much bigger cost.

Passing up a subsidy is like walking past $250 laying on the street.

$10 says he stabs you and takes your money. Just sayin

Also, make sure its actually a 4S, try using Siri

so you'd rather get scammed? lol

I'm sharing a family plan. Not my decision.

I'll take that bet.
