Best buy had the 17 inch 2.4 Quad, 4 gig of ram, 750 gb hdd, for 1499.99 new?

They also had the same thing in a 15 inch with reg display for 1099.99?

And A Air 13.3 256gb for 799.99

Are those good deals? They are getting rid of their old crap is what the manager told me.

Oh I agree. I have a 17 right now and bought that 17 at the store. I love my 17" of goodness.

Smart moves, the 17" at that price is a "killer" deal. I always wanted a 17" unfortunately i always felt that the pricing did not offer good value, nor did it differentiate enough from the 15" at $1500 i would have snapped one up.

These are all 2011 models. These are all fine computers and good deals but they've been going around the bargain sites for a bit now which means stock in almost all stores is already gone.
