I found a 2012 macbook air 128gb ssd 4gb ram with original box for $800 battery has 125 cycles on it...should i pull the trigger? its from a trusted source with a 30 day warranty...so i dont mind paying a *little for peace of mind...
Thanks! i didnt know about the ssd issue...ill keep lookin on the bay to see what i can find...im about 50 posts away from the marketplace on here lol...id really like to see what everyone has!
Definitely keep looking. The way I search eBay is go to newly listed buy it now auctions that have a best offer option. This means someone just listed it and may be eager to sell the item. Just a couple weeks ago, I scored a 2012 with the 256gb ssd 8gb of ram. 9 cycles on the battery, 3 years of apple care (good till February 2016) for 700 plus 30 shipping. The refurb model you are talking about in your op is 850 refurbished on apple.com
Well, money was an issue but I couldnt help myself...I found a brand new 2013 model with free parallels 9 for 1048 shipped to my door...no tax and no shipping fees...for $20 more than a refurd would have cost me im pleased!
