could i upgrade the hard drive to like 160gb?

Price seems a little high to me considering the price of a new Intel model Mac mini. Just my two cents, however.

I wouldn't say that it's a good deal since it's for a g4. That's about $500 US and you can get a new intel mac mini for $600. For $500 you could probably find a used intel mac mini without much trouble.

You might even be able to find a refurbished unit with a warranty, too
(Check Apple.com and MacSales.com)

well

the person lives like 10min walk..and i need the 1gig ram and 80gb hard drive...and i dont care if its intel...i just want a cheap mac to hold me off 2years..to play with imovie etc....

Try to talk the seller into selling it lower. Bring up the fact that it is an old generation mac mini and you can get a newer generation about the same price. You maybe be able to cut off ~$50.

If you need to pay cash and face to face, I suggest you check up on your local craigslist. You can usually get great deals if you're patient and the deals are done locally.
