Hi all, I know I read a thread her once about a good DJ app and I spent a bunch of time trying to find it again but couldn't. Does anyone know any good apps with turntables and all?

+1 on Djay

I have Sonasorausrex too and works will with new multifunction options, play directly from music on Ipad library etc...

I have BabyDecks DJ and love it. It looks a lot like the one shown in this thread actually.

Very high quality App, and everything works as expected. Only complaint is no recording, and it's a bit pricey.

Hmmm it seems like djay is not available yet. Same with Mixr which seems to also be getting a lot of press.

I will check out babydecks

This is suppost to be really good.

here is the website http://ipadmixr.com/

They have been talking about this for months. Where is it? Vaporware until proven otherwise.

iDJ has been working great for me, sans turntables.

Fun app and Numark knows what they're doing.

Certainly not worth 10 bucks. Jump on it while it's 5 dollars. Hate the mechanics of this app. No, Numark did not get this one right. I'd wish Traktor would release an app.

What don't you like about it? It's my go to app on the train ride into the city for work. Songs load seamlessly and the mixes sound great.

I never was a DJ so perhaps there is something professional I'm not seeing and would enjoy being enlightened as to why you don't find this app up to snuff.

If you're happy with it then why worry?

I am waiting for DJay app as I have the full version on my macbook pro and love it. It should be available in the app store any day now according to the press release they sent macrumors.

I can't remember if the price was mentioned. Anyone know?

the problem is that most of those apps is half-profesionall i mean its lot of fun but not many of this apps we can use like proffesional software to mixing ;)

I've been playing around with it this morning, off and on, and so far it's impressive.
I usually wait on $20. apps only because the price goes down within a couple of weeks. This one's worth it.

I got the iPhone version for $.99 during the recent sale. I"m very bummed I missed the huge price drop to $9.99 from $19.99 for the iPad2. It only lasted from May 28-May 31. ARgh!!!!
