Topic?

I need a good file shredder for deleting sensitive files without hope for recovery. I found that Eraser for windows was a great program, with slectable levels of erasing. I did a MRoogle of this topic, and did not come up with much of anything. Anyone have some programs, or a program that does a good job?

Is the secure erase associated with the trash bin good? Does it do a thorough job?

Yes, Finder's secure erase is very good. If you want extra security, use Disk Utility to erase your hard drive's free space using up to 35 passes.
